Dr. Denise McDermott

Dr. Denise McDermott, M.D. has been in private practice since 2001. As a medical doctor with board certifications in both Adult and Child Psychiatry, she treats children, adolescents and adults. Her goal is to empower you, your child, and your family to live the best life possible. Her approach is to encourage people to believe in wellness, not illness, and to lead a balanced healthy lifestyle.

What makes Dr. Denise even more compelling to ADHD Golf is that she was a college soccer goalkeeper. Thus, her experience of being top athlete in college has been invaluable for ADHD Golf.

Dr. Lidia Zylowska

Dr.  Zylowska’s book The Mindfulness Prescription for Adult ADHD: An 8-Step Program for Strengthening Attention, Managing Emotions, and Achieving Your Goals, is a must read for any ADHD athlete.  Most inconsistencies in an ADHD Golfer are the result of not being able to manage focus, emotions as well as deal with the triggers of anxiety.  Dr. Zylowska’s book was the inspiration for me that we could craft a more mindful golf practice.
